purpose of these design insights are not written to provide the reader
with the ability to be a professional designer. This is only a guideline,
as each design professional or individual garden planners may have their
own process. Remember that there are no set rules, only alternatives. We
wanted to give you some basic information on a variety of styles, plans,
services and questions to think about in the design process. Our hope is
that with this information you will be able to take a dream of your own
garden paradise and create a lifestyle suited to your needs. Just for the
record you should know that there is no such thing as a perfect plan. We
are working with nature and either during construction or over the courses
of time things change that are beyond our control. The important thing
is to keep the concept the same and provide unity in all phases. Most of
